Harvest season doesn’t leave much room for equipment problems. Once the crop is ready and the weather cooperates, you need your corn head and combine ready to keep moving, not parked while you wait on a worn part or unexpected repair.
That makes the weeks before and during harvest a good time to inspect high-wear areas, replace questionable parts and protect expensive components before they become bigger problems.
From August 17 through October 31, 2026, retail customers can save during the May Wes Corn Head & Combine Sale:
- FREE shipping on corn head and combine kits
- 10% OFF + FREE shipping on corn head and combine replacement parts
- Offer valid for retail customers only
- Shipping offer valid in the contiguous United States only
Whether you’re trying to protect tires from corn stubble, reinforce worn auger areas or keep more ears moving into the head, now is a smart time to stock up and save.

Protect Tires and Tracks with G4 Stalk Stomper Kits
Corn stubble can do serious damage to combine tires and tracks, and those aren’t repairs you want cutting into your harvest budget.
May Wes G4 Stalk Stomper Kits use 12-inch compression-molded UHMW poly shoes to push stalks down ahead of your tires or tracks. A torsion-spring design provides 30 degrees of flex, and the G4 design is 30% lighter than previous models. Kits are available for corn heads from John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Drago, Geringhoff and several other manufacturers. New this year, G4 Stalk Stomper Kits are also available for Case IH C500 Series and New Holland 9200 Series corn heads.
If your current stompers are worn, damaged or missing (or you haven’t added stalk protection yet) inspect your setup before the first field.

Reinforce Worn Corn Head Auger Troughs Before They Become a Bigger Repair
The floor beneath your corn head auger takes plenty of abuse. Once the original metal begins thinning or corroding, waiting too long can mean grain loss and an expensive repair.
May Wes Corn Head Auger Trough Liners are made from 1/8-inch UHMW poly and cover the full length of the floor under the auger, rather than only the feed opening. The poly provides a wear-resistant barrier over the original metal, helps maintain grain flow and can keep grain from escaping through corroded areas. Kits bolt and rivet into place, with options for Case IH, John Deere, New Holland and other corn heads.
If you already run a May Wes liner, replacement panels are also available for worn sections, giving you a way to repair the wear area without replacing the entire liner.

Extend Combine Auger Tube Life with UHMW Liners
Thin auger tubes can turn into an expensive replacement at exactly the wrong time.
May Wes Auger Trough & Tube Liners use UHMW poly to protect high-wear areas in grain tank auger troughs, auger beds and auger tubes. Auger Tube Liners are designed to extend the life of tank-fill and bubble-up auger tubes at a fraction of the cost of replacing the complete metal tube. Options are available for Case IH, New Holland and John Deere combines, along with universal kits.
Look closely at thin metal, worn spots and grain-loss areas during your harvest inspection. A liner installed before failure can be a much easier job than repairing the damage after harvest starts.

Protect John Deere Row Dividers with UHMW Shields
Row dividers see constant crop contact and wear. If yours are still structurally sound, protecting them now can help postpone a costly OEM replacement.
May Wes Row Divider Shields for John Deere Chopping Heads are made from wear-resistant UHMW polyethylene and are available for John Deere 600/700 and C-Series chopping heads with 20-, 22- and 30-inch row spacing. The Poly Cover Only option installs over an existing divider to reinforce it, while Full Replacement Row Dividers are available for worn-out John Deere 600/700 Series dividers. Installation hardware is included.
That gives you an option whether you’re trying to preserve a good divider or replace one that has already reached the end of its life.

Protect Corn Head Snouts with Snoot Boots and Snout Savers
A snout that catches the ground can quickly bend or wrinkle, creating crop-flow problems and an unplanned repair.
May Wes Snoot Boots slide over existing cast snout points and bolt into place. Made from high-impact plastic with a slick surface, they help reduce wear and trash buildup while extending the life of the original point. They’re available for select Case IH, John Deere and New Holland corn heads. Their visibility can also help operators stay centered in the row when working in down corn or lower-light conditions.

For added protection at the front of the snout, May Wes Snout Savers use a curved UHMW design that lifts the point off the ground and increases the surface area contacting the soil. That helps keep the snout from digging in and reduces the risk of wrinkling or damaging it.

Keep More Corn in the Head with Poly Ear Savers
Not every harvest loss comes from a major breakdown. Small losses at the corn head can add up acre after acre.
May Wes Poly Ear Savers are designed to keep loose ears from sliding over the gathering chains and falling to the ground. Made from soft polyurethane, they hold their shape during operation and act as a gate that helps direct loose ears back into the combine. May Wes Ear Savers are thicker and more durable than OEM options, helping them stand up to tough harvest conditions and last longer in the field. Options are available for a wide range of Case IH, John Deere, New Holland, Lexion and Caterpillar corn heads.
If your existing ear savers are worn, folded back or missing, replacement is a small preseason job that can help keep more of your crop where it belongs.
