Grain Harvest Sale: Save on Parts That Keep Your Grain Head Running

Harvest season doesn’t leave much room for worn skid shoes, damaged auger floors or broken reel components. A small problem during preseason inspection can turn into lost field time once the crop is ready and the weather window starts closing.

From July 15 through August 15, 2026, the May Wes Grain Harvest Sale can help you prepare your grain head before harvest gets underway.

The Grain Harvest Sale offers:

  • Free shipping on eligible kits

  • Free shipping plus 10% off eligible replacement parts

  • Free shipping available in the lower 48 United States only

  • Offer valid for retail customers only. Are you a May Wes dealer? Call us to ask about your current offers and promotions at 1-800-788-6483.

Take time to inspect the areas that contact the ground, guide crop into the head and move material toward the combine. Replacing worn parts now can help protect expensive components and keep you moving when harvest is go-time.

Protect Your Grain Head with Poly Skid Shoe Kits

Metal skid plates take constant punishment as the head follows the ground. When those plates begin wearing thin, replacement costs get expensive.

May Wes grain head skid shoes are made from virgin UHMW poly and formed or molded for a perfect fit. The smooth poly surface protects the original metal skid plates while allowing the head and cutterbar to run low, helping you leave less crop behind. Kits are available for all major grain head brands, including Case IH, New Holland, John Deere, MacDon, AGCO, Gleaner/Massey and Claas/Lexion/Caterpillar.

Check your skid shoes for deep wear, cracks or areas where the underlying metal is becoming exposed. Replacing the full set before harvest helps provide consistent protection across the width of the head.

Sale offer: Free shipping on grain head skid shoe kits. Free shipping + 10% off replacement skid shoes.

Cover Worn Floors with Auger Trough Liner Kits

Rust holes and worn spots in the grain head floor can allow loose grain to fall through instead of reaching the feederhouse. That’s crop you worked all season to grow—and it shouldn’t be leaking out through the bottom of the head.

May Wes UHMW poly auger trough liners cover the full length of the floor beneath the auger, rather than covering only the feed opening. The liners help keep loose grain inside the head and promote more even feeding into the combine throat. Installation involves positioning the panels, drilling and riveting them into place. Kits are available for select Case IH, New Holland and John Deere flex heads.

Inspect the trough for rust, thinning metal and holes, especially in high-wear areas under the auger. Installing a liner kit can extend the useful life of the grain head without replacing the metal floor.

Sale offer: Free shipping on eligible auger trough liner kits. Free shipping + 10% off replacement auger liner panels.

May Wes Poly Retractable Finger installed on Case IH grain head

Replace Metal Auger Fingers with Poly Retractable Fingers

A bent or broken metal auger finger can create more than a feeding problem. If it travels into the combine, it can cause costly damage to the threshing system.

May Wes poly retractable fingers are strong and resilient while costing less than metal fingers. Should a poly finger break and pass through the combine, the material is designed to disintegrate rather than damage the threshing components. Kits and parts are available for several brands, including Case IH, New Holland, John Deere, MacDon, Lexion and Gleaner/Massey.

The Grain Harvest Sale includes free shipping on eligible 100-finger, 24-finger and 12-pack kits, and free shipping plus 10% off replacement parts. Inspect the auger for missing, bent or shortened fingers and replace questionable parts before they become a problem in the field.

Sale offer: Free shipping on poly retractable finger kits. Free shipping + 10% off replacement parts.

May Wes Poly Tin Replacement Shield installed on Case IH 1020

Lighten Up a Case IH 1020 with a Poly Tin Replacement Shield Kit

Worn or damaged metal feather sheets can interfere with crop movement and add unnecessary weight to an older grain head.

May Wes Poly Tin Replacement Shield Kits are designed to extend the life of Case IH 1020 grain heads. The poly replacement is approximately 50% lighter than the original metal material and is available for head widths from 15 to 30 feet. Replacement center panels, end panels and trailing edges are also available through the collection.

Inspect the existing tin for holes, sharp edges, bends and areas that may catch crop. Replacing worn sections with smooth poly can help restore a cleaner path for material entering the head.

Sale offer: Free shipping on eligible Poly Tin Replacement Shield Kits. Free shipping + 10% off replacement parts.

Tru-Tube® Auger Straightener

Keep a Tru-Tube Auger Straightener in the Toolbox

Field debris doesn’t always announce itself before it reaches the head. When an auger tube gets bent, getting it straightened quickly can mean the difference between returning to harvest and losing valuable hours.

The compact Tru-Tube Auger Straightener allows you to straighten damaged auger tubes on grain platforms in the field. It fits easily in a toolbox and eliminates the need to rely on torches or pry bars for the repair. The tool is available for 12-, 14- and 16-inch auger sizes.

It’s the kind of tool you hope you won’t need but you’ll be glad to have when a bent tube threatens to park the head.

Sale offer: Free shipping on the Tru-Tube Auger Straightener.

May Wes 5-Finger Quick Tines installed on John Deere grain head

Improve Short-Crop Feeding with 5-Finger Quick Tines

Short and specialty crops can be difficult for standard reel tines to gather consistently. Instead of pulling the crop toward the cutterbar and auger, single tines may pass through without moving enough material.

May Wes 5-Finger Quick Tines feature a more aggressive paddle-style design that helps feed short and specialty crops more evenly. They snap directly over the existing OEM tine without tools or additional hardware. The design can be used in crops such as soybeans, wheat, canola, chickpeas, lupins and flax, and options are available for a broad range of Case IH, New Holland, John Deere, MacDon, AGCO/Gleaner and Massey Ferguson heads.

The tines are sold in 10-packs. Check your reel before harvest and consider adding 5-Finger Quick Tines where improved gathering could help keep more crop moving into the machine.

Sale offer: Free shipping + 10% off 5-Finger Quick Tines.

May Wes Snap-On Tine for Grain Heads

Repair Short or Broken Reel Tines with Snap-On Tines

A few shortened reel tines may not look serious in the shop, but uneven tine length can reduce the reel’s ability to guide crop consistently toward the cutterbar.

May Wes Snap-On Tines fit over the remaining portion of the original factory finger, restoring its length and function without removing the existing tine. No tools are required, and the heavy-duty replacement can be installed in seconds. Snap-On Tines are sold in 10-packs and are available for select Case IH, New Holland, John Deere and MacDon grain heads.

Keep a pack on hand for preseason repairs and quick replacements during harvest. Fixing damaged tines as you find them can help maintain more consistent reel performance across the head.

Green crop divider installed on John Deere grain head

Replace Worn or Damaged Crop Dividers

Crop dividers help separate the standing crop at the ends of the head. When a divider or marker rod is damaged, it becomes harder to follow the crop edge cleanly and maintain an efficient pass.

May Wes Crop Dividers are built for durability and include fiberglass marker rods. They are sold as a pair, offered in red or green and available for Case IH 1020 and select John Deere applications. May Wes poly Crop Dividers also eliminate the noisy metal rattle of OEM dividers. Replacement marker rods are also available.

Look for cracked dividers, damaged mounting points or marker rods that are broken or difficult to see. Replacing them before harvest helps you start with a complete, field-ready head.

Sale offer: Free shipping + 10% off grain head Crop Dividers.
