Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What corn head models do Snoot Boots fit?
A: Snoot Boots are compatible with Case IH 2200/2400/2600/3200/3400 series corn heads; John Deere 90, 600, 700, and C‑Series corn heads; and New Holland 98C, 98D, 99C corn heads. Each boot is sold individually per snout.
Q: How difficult is the installation?
A: Installation is very simple. The boot slides over the existing cast snout point and bolts into place.
Q: What material are the boots made from?
A: Snoot Boots are manufactured from high‑impact plastic, chosen for its strength and resistance to wear. The slick surface also helps prevent trash from accumulating during harvesting.
Q: What are the main benefits of using Snoot Boots?
A: They extend the life of your original snout points by reducing wear, prevent trash build‑up (which can cause blockages or uneven feeding), and improve visibility — especially useful when harvesting downed corn or working in low light conditions.
Q: Are Snoot Boots sold individually or as a set?
A: Snoot Boots are sold individually per snout.
Q: Can I remove them if needed?
A: Yes — since they snap on over existing points without permanent modifications, the boots can be removed or replaced as needed.
