May Wes is proud to introduce our newest aftermarket poly skid shoes for Lexion and Claas MAXFLEX headers!
Manufactured from slick and durable 3/8” thick virgin UHMW poly, the new center skid shoe measures 10.25” X 9” and fits Lexion F540, F535. G540, G535 and Claas MAXFLEX 1200, 1050 and 930, 770 headers. This skid shoe is a direct replacement for OEM part 3591080. The skid shoe is CNC machine cut from solid sheets of virgin UHMW plastic and formed to fit the header in May Wes’ Hutchinson, Minnesota plastic fabrication shop.
Lexion/Claas center skid shoes are pre-drilled and include all hardware necessary for installation (size #86 small head pop rivets). The holes are counterbored, allowing hardware to be recessed for smoother operation.
May Wes pioneered the application of poly to the agricultural industry in 1972. We manufacture UHMW poly skid shoes for a wide range of headers, including Case IH, New Holland, John Deere, Claas, Lexion, Caterpillar, and Gleaner/Massey. May Wes uses only virgin UHMW plastic to manufacture its skid shoes, rather than inferior recycled plastics. This results in a more durable, slicker and longer-lasting skid shoe that is free of voids. May Wes skid shoes allow operators to run their head and cutter bar as low as possible without pushing and piling soil, resulting in more crop in the combine, even in wet and sticky conditions.
